The Riverwalk

Today we went to the Riverwalk in SA, Texas.  It was really cool!  First we started off parking and going into the mall, because there was a mall connected to the parking building.  So, we went through the mall and ended up in an outdoor area right on the river.  It was so beautiful!  There were plants, and tables with umbrellas.
We walked over to the area where they were selling tickets for the boat ride tours, and bought 3- one for Mom, Caleb, and I.  Mrs. Sherry bought her ticket seperately.  Our ride was at 12:00 and it was about 11:10, so we went to the bathroom and grabbed some Starbucks.  By the time we arrived back to get in line, we were 20 minutes away from boarding the boat.  So we just stood there and waited.  Then, finally, there was a vacant boat, and a man got in it and told us to board.  There were seats on the edge of the boat, and back to back seats in the middle.  Caleb and I sat on the edge, and Mom and Mrs. Sherry sat on the inside area right across from us.  During our tour, I took lots of pictures and soaked up lots of facts.  It was just so beautiful!  I can't stop saying that!!
After we got off the boat, we walked down the river to a reccomended Mexican resturaunt where you could eat along the water.  The food was great, but the delivery of Caleb's food went something like this:  WRONG, 5 minutes, WRONG, 5 minutes, WRONG, 5 minutes, WRONG, 5 minutes, RIGHT FINALLY!!
After that we were going to go to the Alamo, but we had to take a quick pit stop.  On the way to the Alamo was a hotel, so we went inside the hotel to find the bathrooms.  Once inside, our mouths couldn't say closed!  It was so BIG!  It looked small on the outside, but on the inside, it was HUGE.  So we rode the AWESOME elevator to the lobby (the lobby was like, the middle floor, and the elevators were small little red bottles with a pizza-looking shape on the bottom in lights).
After our bathroom break, we went to the Alamo, which was pretty cool.  Once inside, we couldn't:  take pictures, touch the walls, or eat.  Next we walked around the gardens surrounding the Alamo, and walked back to the mall, then eventually our car.  We enjoyed our day tremendously!!  :)
