The Launch of Pottermore

Hey all you Harry Potter fans out there- if you haven't already heard, the fabulous J.K. Rowling is launching a new website called Pottermore. You can become a student at Hogwarts and earn house points for your house. If you sumbit your email address on www.pottermore.com , you can be alerted when the site is open for registration. The first 100 to registrate will be allowed onto the site early! Send in your email addresses NOW!!

Summer Reading

Ok, one of my favorite things to do is read. So, here are some great books and series you might enjoy. I have recently (just this year) become a Harry Potter FREAK!! We own all the movies (except for the last two) and I am currently bouncing up and down because J.K. Rowling, the author, is starting a new site in which you can continue your journey in the world of Harry Potter. Anyways- read the Harry Potter books! Right now I am currently reading a book called "It's My Life" by Melody Carlson. Its a Christian book about a Christian girl of 18 who is writing in her diary. She just writes about her life, and I am really enjoying it. I feel like I'm learning that sharing the wonderful news of Jesus Christ is not such a hard thing after all. Another great series is the Percy Jackson series! Amazing (reminds me a little bit of Harry Potter)!! So, even though its summer, DON'T STOP READING!!
